To conceal his true identity, the Red Shadow adopts a mild-mannered, unassuming persona, similar to the archetypes seen in stories like “The Scarlet Pimpernel” or “Zorro.”The operetta follows the Red Shadow’s adventures as he navigates danger, romance, and intrigue. He falls in love with Margot Bonvalet, the daughter of the French general Birabeau, who is tasked with suppressing the rebellion. The story combines swashbuckling action with romantic and dramatic elements.
