Synopsis of The Vagabond King

    The story follows François Villon, a charismatic and roguish poet and vagabond who becomes an unlikely hero. Villon is a witty and rebellious figure who is beloved by the common people but despised by the nobility.When King Louis XI faces threats from his enemies, he enlists Villon’s help to defend the kingdom. Villon is given a chance to redeem himself and prove his loyalty by leading a group of vagabonds to protect the king and the realm.Alongside political intrigue and battles, the story features a romantic subplot between Villon and Katherine de Vaucelles, a noblewoman who is initially skeptical of Villon but grows to admire his courage and spirit.
