Synopsis
The Hastleons’ 2022 production of “Legally Blonde” at the White Rock Theatre brought the energetic and fun-filled musical comedy to life with a vibrant cast and dynamic staging. Based on the hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon, the musical follows Elle Woods, a fashionable and determined young woman who enrolls in Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend.
Despite being underestimated by her peers and professors, Elle’s charm, intelligence, and perseverance help her break stereotypes and prove her worth. Along the way, she discovers her own potential, makes new friends, and ultimately triumphs in court with her unique style and wit.
The show is packed with catchy songs, including the iconic “Bend and Snap,” and celebrates themes of self-confidence, empowerment, and staying true to oneself.
