
Synopsis
The Hastleons’ 2017 production of “Fame” at the White Rock Theatre brought the high-energy, inspiring story of young artists chasing their dreams to the stage. Based on the iconic 1980s film and the subsequent West End musical, “Fame” follows a group of students at New York City‘s High School of Performing Arts as they navigate the challenges of adolescence, ambition, and the pursuit of stardom.
The musical explores themes of friendship, perseverance, and self-discovery through a dynamic mix of singing, dancing, and acting. Each character faces personal struggles and triumphs, from overcoming self-doubt to confronting societal pressures, all while striving to achieve their dreams in the competitive world of performing arts.
